The Law in Fandom - Help Please
If you could mention this on your journals I would love you forever because I'm going to need some serious help here.
I'm planning a panel at Dragon*Con this year that's about what is or isn't illegal in fandom. I was wondering several things.
Thanks so much for your help!

The Law in Fandom - Help Please
If you could mention this on your journals I would love you forever because I'm going to need some serious help here.
I'm planning a panel at Dragon*Con this year that's about what is or isn't illegal in fandom. I was wondering several things.
- If there are any lawyers out there who have experience defending people who have been sued for fandom related acts or any understanding of interpreting the law for this purpose I would love it if you could contact me.
- Obviously, I'm going to have to do a fair amount of reading and researching for this one any links you might have about this subject would be immensely helpful.
- If you have seen the original creators commenting on the use of their source, it would be nice to compare and contrast them.
- We're talking about fan art, fanfic, and fanvids and I'd like to speak to people who have actually gotten the Cease & Desist letters.
- If you're coming to con, and would be interested in speaking on the panel, please also contact me, either by commenting here, or by emailing me at countessmary at gmail.
Thanks so much for your help!
